WHO WE CARE

The elderly who meet the following criteria:

 

  1. Aged over 65 years old;

  2. Receiving monthly pension less than 4,600 KGS (around 66 Euros); 

  3. No family support (i.e. childless; have disabled or pensioned children, or their children have left Kyrgyzstan and do not provide them any support).

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe that a massage service is another alternative wellness provision that helps improve their physical and mental health of the elderly who are abandoned and unable to afford quality massage service, From Hearts to Hands project is intended to be a sample social entrepreneurial project to enhance public engagement in caring for the elderly with small steps under our limited capacity.  

WHAT WE DO

With the project will begin in May, 2020, we will provide massage therapy to the elderly who currently have little or no access to alternative healthcare to improve their well-being.

WHO WE WORK WITH

We will work with the Babushka Adoption, which is a local organization based in Bishkek. This organization helps elderly citizens who live under hard conditions, receive low pensions and lack close relatives who could care for them. The Foundation has established various projects with and for elderly people to improve the living conditions of elderly Kyrgyz citizens on both a local and regional level.

HOW YOU can support US

Donors: Kindly donate your used items to us for selling. It needs to be functional and in a good condition.

Purchasers: Kindly purchase donated items to support the project and the good intention of both donors and Kamin Thai Massage Boutique to fund the project for the provision of a Thai massage to the elderly.  

​

Both Donors and Purchasers of each month will receive a monthly progress report via email which indicates monthly sales from donated items, name of donors and purchasers, and information about the service Kamin provides to the elderly and about the elderly who receive a massage with their short story, and balance of money left for the next month if any.

Call or whatsapp for advance notice, provide us with price, name, contact number, and Email address.

FUNDS COLLECTED

Income from item sales will be collected and spent on costs of operational service and transportation for each elderly person.

MONTHLY PROGRESS REPORT

Donors and purchasers receiving our project's monthly report via Email.

 

Report contents include fund management, list of donors and purchasers of items sold each month, and consent-based information of elderly persons receiving a massage.
